From the Arctic Circle we bring you Vallihauta, a trio that operates with drums, bass, guitar and one throat. They could have been a hardcore punk band or a traditional doom trio, but instead they kept themselves free of chaining definitions and came up with a crusty presentation of powerful songs without need to limit their beats per minute.
Group was formed in Rovaniemi, Finland back in 2013 and has since concentrated on turning their stubborn attitude into tonal form. So was this album born, out of monotonous and ascetic sounds with systematic inconsistency in both, songwriting and work methods in general. Their self-titled album is what rises from a murky moat next to a glamorous castle, a total opposite to criticise and question everything accepted and considered normal.
